Subject: SEAS UPDATE 37 – East Suffolk Council’s neutral position
To: <[email protected]>

Dear All,

Forgive the brevity of this update.  We are all head-down for the final Examination deadline next Tuesday midday but WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW.

As you may know, East Suffolk Council has been beyond disappointing in the neutral position they have taken of late within the Examinations.  In their most recent submissions, they have again failed to represent our community on vital issues such as the decline of the local tourist economy, the risk to the Coralline Crag at the site of the Thorpeness landfall, the risk to the Wardens Trust and biodiversity harm, plus specific issues mentioned by SASES in the letter attached, including noise impact, flood risk, mental health and the cumulative impact of other projects.

We are asking you to write to East Suffolk Council expressing your anger and concern as to the position they are taking and not to ignore the voices of their community which they are elected to represent.

We attach a letter from SASES which we endorse.  It has all the email addresses and information you need.     Your own words are always more powerful but please feel free to use this as you wish.

Please Act Today, Thank you.

Best wishes

The SEAS Team
